The DESMOS calculator can be used for both graphing and calculations. By the end of this school year, it will be the only calculator available within the SAGE tests.  DESMOS is a fantastic upgrade from the old SAGE calculator! Come to this session to learn (a) how to use the DESMOS calculator so you can teach your students, and (b) how to include DESMOS in math lessons.

During this session, participants will learn how to use the DESMOS calculator. Additionally, we will implement a math lesson using DESMOS to show how students can login and teachers can use the teacher panel and dashboard to monitor and/or display student responses.

For this session, the lesson will be aligned with the grades 6-8 standards for mathematics.
