TCSD has given teachers access to a powerful set of tools: the Adobe CC (Creative Cloud) Suite. This spectacular array of software can do a plethora of things from editing video to creating websites to manipulating photos to creating custom pdfs and more, but one very useful thing it can do is help teachers build custom graphic organizers.

Adobe Illustrator does everything you wish Word or Paint (or any other number of "why won't it do this?" programs) would do when trying to develop and manipulate a graphic organizer into something useful. With a little knowledge and a basic mastery of some of the tools, you can be pulling together useful graphic organizers today. And that's just the beginning. The more familiar you become with  Adobe Illustrator, the more sophisticated and useful the products you create. Come play with fonts, lines, shapes, and colors and develop a new skill that can be both creatively satisfying and immediately practical.
